I had to write and thank you for your Watervalley series! I LOVED all three books so much that I bought them for my mom who is in her 80s. She hasn’t read a book in years due to health issues, but she quickly fell in love with the first book to the point that she would read so long it amazed her. She got so excited that my dad decided to read them as well. He is a nonfiction reader, yet he fell in love with the books too! He has told me many times what an incredible writer you are and how enjoyable it was to read the books. Now the three of us chat often about the characters and storylines. It’s wonderful! Thank you for giving us such a special experience! We are REALLY hoping there will be more Watervalley books! We miss the characters already! Do you plan to write more?

      Dear Cheryl,

Sorry for the slow response. I am delighted that you and your family have so enjoyed the books!

Fingers crossed… it is my hope to have the fourth book out by this Christmas. So, stay tuned.

  9. Hello,

I just finished reading “Each Shining Hour,” and I wanted to let you know that I treasured how you painted the male character of Dr. Luke Bradford.

He is a shining star male character that stands out wonderfully in our super-charged male he-men ensemble. As a long-term 6’1″ tall male teacher who has taught K-8 for over 20 years, and who has been a professional deep-sea diver, I treasure knowing we can have caring male role models in our literary treasure chest. Thanks for writing, and please give us more WaterValley stories.
    Mr. K.

Picked up More Things in Heaven and Earth on a sharing table at our retirement community yesterday and MUST order the next books today.
I love your sense of place and since Agnes Scott is my alma mater, I have always had relatives in Buckhead, I grew up in small town Georgia, and my husband is from just north of Nashville, this is familiar territory. Thank you for writing for all of us as well as for caring for your patients.
    What a gift!
